ASTM B206 - Wire Mesh
ASTM B206 is a standard specification for wire mesh of cupro-nickel alloy. The wire mesh (wire cloth) is basically manufactured by weaving process. The welded wire mesh, generally called reinforcing wire mesh, is mostly used in cement concrete work for construction of buildings, national highway pavements, runways, dams, airports etc. It is also used for fencing purposes and for partition walls and as a safety guard in engineering workshops.

ASTM B206 specification establishes the requirements for wire mesh in round, rectangular, and square form of UNS Alloy Nos.C71500, C70600. Wire Mesh shall be furnished with copper-nickel alloys and conditions defined by standard specification. Each wire of cupro-nickel sheet, alternately crosses above and below every weft wire and vice versa. Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter.
