DIN 766 Chain

DIN 766 Chains are made of series of metal rings which are interconnected with each other by passing through one another. They are generally used to fastening two objects securely, or for hauling, or for pulling load, or confining, etc. They can also be used or various ornamental purposes and decorative forms. A cylindrical metal is pulled lengthwise to form a solid round rod which is then pressed into oval ring form and the ends are welded together. Similar second solid round ring is formed by passing through the previous ring, thus forming a series of interlinked rings known as DIN 766 Anchor Chains or DIN 766 Short Link Chains.

DIN 766 Round Link Chains are very similar to rope in application. Chain provide additional flexibility, strength, load bearing capacity, high tensile strength, higher compression ratio, and greater curve dimension, and provide more rigidity as well.

DIN 766 Calibrated Chains can be used for heavy work for securing (like cycles, boats, etc) , for pulling or lifting like lifting (with a hoist at one end),etc. Structural shape of DIN 766 Link Chain helps it for two dimension movement thereby making it useful in wide variety of applications. Different types of chain can be joined together with the help of clevis, carabiner or quick link.
